Hello and welcome to NO SCRIPT FOR LIFE.

Time to freshen up the website a bit, I hope you like the new look!

Is it best to think of this website as an eclectic online magazine? Or perhaps a collection of random stuff? Maybe a mix of the two with some strangeitude thrown in for good measure. I keep saying I’ll make it as a writer because my brain’s too strange to make me anything else. It often goes off on various different tangents and I struggle to keep up.  I’m also a serial procrastinator, forever blowing hot and cold on various projects, so as you can imagine, it’s left me with quite a lot of material over the years. By and large it’s material that doesn’t have a home. Until now.

If you scroll through the latest posts page to find commentary, short stories, debate – all sorts. There’s a mixture of things written especially for this site and stuff from my archive (which sounds terribly grand but is actually just rather sad). I’m arrogant enough to think some of this orphaned stuff is quite good, and as it ranges from comedy sketches to poems, short stories to readings, there should be something for almost everyone.

So far, I’ve had one short story published, so hopefully it will lead to more soon, and it’s hoped this website will help me develop my craft as I experiment with different styles, tones and voices.

It’s very nice to say I’m building an audience here, it’s really good to know my writing is actually being read and, I hope, occasionally enjoyed. Enjoy the site.
